The property

A lovely, mid-terrace mews property, set in a small development above the River Esk, one mile from Whitby.

Offering light, spacious open plan living, this Whitby cottage has been furnished and decorated in a contemporary style, providing very comfortable accommodation.

From the rear patio of this Whitby cottage are fine views over rolling countryside, whilst the balcony off the double bedroom affords river views and glimpses of passing steam trains!

For nature lovers staying in this Whitby cottage, a meander down to the river banks brings you to an abundance of wildlife, including kingfishers and seals that are frequently seen swimming upstream.

Ideally placed, a pleasant walk from this Whitby cottage brings you into this vibrant old seaside town, with its quaint cobbled streets and ginnels, famous abbey and historic harbour.

Explore the long, sany beaches, take a bracing cliff-top walk, or sample the numerous eateries, including the best of fish and chips!

Surrounded by the beautiful scenery of the North Yorks Moors and pretty inland villages and market towns such as Pickering, Malton and Danby, this Whitby cottage is well placed, with a wealth of activities in the area to enjoy, from a nostalgic trip on the steam railway to a cultural day out in York.

A little piece of heaven! We regularly stay at Whitby and this beautiful cottage is the best so far. A real home from home with added fantastic views. As "Arnie" says... "We will be back". Thank you Tim & Louise. Big hugs and kisses from Sheffield!

A lovely clean cottage with very comfortable beds and plump pillows/duvets. We had a few walks down the cinder track into town and had the best fish and chips (Silver Street). Glad to have wifi too.

First time we have stopped in the cottage, it was brilliant no faults at all. Nice and clean, we will stop again.

Mr & Mrs L Derbyshire

What a great place to stay!! Everything just suited us! We had a great time, great weather, & Brenna was in her element. Walked into Whitby several times. The Postgate Inn next to the railway station does amazing food. We parked at Sleights station, walked across the beautiful countryside (5 1/2 miles) great fish menu, then caught the train back! Thank you for letting us stay, we loved it!
